People always ask us about our amazing sports coaches and what they get up to during the week!
Well, the fun doesn’t stop after our weekend classes as our team of coaches spend their week attending our partner pre-schools, nurseries and primary schools bringing sport to every child.
Pre-School & Nursery Coaching
At Totstars we recognise that the early years learning can be some of the most pivotal. We want to introduce physical activity to children as early as possible, in the hope that it instils a deep rooted love for sport and desire for a healthy lifestyle, which in turn will carry them into primary school and beyond.
Monday to Friday our team of coaches are transformed into what we like to call Sports Practitioners. With experience and expertise gained from managing our own Totstars Ofsted registered nursery and forest pre-schools, our team is completely in sync with the Early Years curriculum while adding our own Totstars blend of fitness and fun.
We support Early Years providers in meeting the requirements within their setting by ensuring our sessions cover the requisite areas of learning. We achieve this by creating fun and engaging sessions whilst developing gross and fine motor skills. So whether it’s bouncing basketballs through volcanic islands, being careful not to hit the puddles of lava or dribbling football’s whilst matching colourful cones (fruits) into shopping baskets, you can rest assured the children are learning through play and sports.
Our mobile, qualified and experienced Sports Practitioners currently visit over 30 settings a week, teaching over 1000 children all there is to love about sport in preparation for BIG school!

In the first instance, our Sports Practitioners can visit your setting for a free trial. We’ll run a 30-minute trial (depending on numbers) and bring all the equipment needed. This is a great opportunity to meet the team, for us to show you how we operate and of course how much fun we can bring to class! School Coaching
Our team will deliver varied sessions in line with National Curriculum guidelines and the QCA – covering the games part of the PE curriculum; invasion games, striking and fielding games, net games, and athletics.
We have various payment options and agreements depending on the requirements of your setting.

Many schools consider using Sport as a way of covering PPA and our team of Totstars Sports practitioners can help.
