We believe in the transformative power of nature, which is why at our nurseries children enjoy daily forest school sessions in our enchanting outdoor space. Surrounded by towering trees and the symphony of the forest our little learners engage with the natural world, fostering a deep connection to the environment and igniting a lifelong love for learning.
Led by our dedicated team of qualified practitioners and forest school leaders, our curriculum is designed to spark curiosity, creativity and independence in every child.
Through hands-on experiences and outdoor adventures we nurture their innate sense of wonder, laying the foundation for a lifetime of exploration and discovery.
In addition to our forest school sessions, children have the opportunity to explore our unique indoor wooden play frames within our nursery setting providing endless opportunities for physical activity, imaginative play and social interaction.
But that's not all – at our nursery we understand the importance of fostering a love for movement and sport from an early age. That's why we offer sports sessions led by the qualified sports coaches from our sports academy, helping children develop essential physical skills, teamwork and confidence in a fun and supportive environment.
At Totstars, we're dedicated to nurturing young minds through the power of play, creating an environment where imaginations soar. Our philosophy revolves around learning through play, allowing children to explore, create and discover in a home-away-from-home setting.
In our cosy and welcoming environment we prioritise the use of natural resources, providing children with authentic, real-world materials that spark curiosity and creativity. At Totstars nurseries your child will have the opportunity to play with real resources, from wooden blocks to natural fabrics, igniting their senses and enriching their play experiences.
Picture your little one tinkering away with real China tea sets, pots and pans. Engaging in imaginative kitchen adventures that stimulate their cognitive and social development. Or perhaps they're marching to the beat of their own drum, exploring the world of music with real instruments that encourage self-expression and coordination.
Forest School
Our Forest School provides children the opportunity to explore nature and delve deep into their natural curiosity of the world around us. With access to a large local woodland and a park opposite our setting we are never far from experiencing the wonderful natural changes nature provides.
In our large woodland we have discovered caves of wonder and furthered our children's development with knowledge of habitats, tree identification and more.
We believe there is no such thing as bad weather as long as we are dressed appropriately. Rain or shine you will find us in the depths of the forest building fires, coppicing trees or practicing our balancing skills on our rope walks. Through hand on experience children gain confidence with their large and fine motor skills enabling them to be resilient with physical activities throughout their lives.

Amazing nursery and forest school! All the staff are so friendly and you can tell really enjoy what they do! The activities for the children are well thought out and even my 1 year old gets involved in everything. The soft play and sand room are great too and recommend visiting, just for this on a Saturday.

What happens if we miss a session?Unfortunately, we are unable to refund for missed sessions and/or amend invoices for sessions your child is unable to attend. If your child is unable to make a session please take advantage of our 'send a friend' option where a child can take your space for the session you cannot attend.

Do I have to pay the membership fee?Yes, the membership fee is a standard one off fee applied to your first invoice after your free trial. It gives you 10% off birthday parties and holiday camp bookings and also comes with an awesome Totstars football kit!

Can I pay per class?No, unfortunately, all our bookings are paid in 8-week blocks in advance. Your child’s space is secured by this payment.

What happens if it's raining?We play on! Sessions will go ahead unless the weather is deemed to pose a health and safety risk. In the event of a cancellation, you will be notified via text to the number associated with your membership and you will be refunded the session. Whatever the weather please ensure your child is dressed appropriately and has plenty of water.

What do I need to bring to a session?Your Totstars kit of course! Or clothes that allow freedom of movement and can be layered up or down depending on the weather. Trainers or Astroturf boots (strictly no studs) and we recommend shin pads for added protection and to get into the habit of wearing them.

What ages do the football sessions cater for?We offer classes for children as young as 2. Please check our class schedule for the latest classes and availability.

My child is too old for Totstars, what happens next?The next phase of your child’s footballing development is The Allstars FC (hyperlink this to the Allstars section). Children can graduate to The Allstars when they are in Year 2 at school. Our coaches will speak to you about the transition to The Allstars when they feel your child is ready.

Is there a sibling discount?Yes, we offer a 10% discount for siblings. The discount will be applied to any siblings after full payment is taken for the first child.
